Herb Crusted Salmon



  • 3 salmon filets
  • 3-4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 small cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 tsp dried greek oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp celtic salt
  • 1.5 tbsp tarragon minced
  • 1.5 tbsp parsley minced
  • 3 tbsp buckwheat flour


  • Preheat oven to broil.
  • Drizzle salmon with 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, add minced garlic, lime juice, remaining olive oil, dried seasonings and mix. Add salt and fresh herbs and mix. Add buckwheat flour and mix— you may need to add in more olive oil but you need a paste-like consistency so the coating sticks to the salmon.
  • Using a spoon (and perhaps clean fingers) rub the mixture onto the salmon so its fully coated (on the sides too).
  • Place in oven and broil for 8-10 minutes or until the salmon reaches 145F at its thickest part.
