Merry Christmas to those celebrating! While I’m sure we’ve all out-cooked ourselves, I know what you need: a festive cocktail recipe! This one has some of my favorite things: tequila, berries and kombucha. I’ll be making a batch today, as well as one for New Years! If tequila isn’t your favorite, feel free to swap it out with what you DO love, or forgo it for a non-alcoholic version! Hope you have a great time celebrating at home! Xo
To prepare the honey water, Add honey into the water and mix until dissolved. If you have trouble, heat the water slightly. Store the honey water in a container and keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.
In a cocktail shaker, add the berries, a dash of honey water and the lime juice. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, muddle the berries in the bottom of the shaker. Add the alcohol and some ice and shake vigorously.
Pour the mixture between two glasses over ice. Finish with sparkling kombucha and a few berries. Enjoy!
