Frothy Whipped Matcha Latte
It’s Matcha Week, and I’m crafting the most delicious recipes for you to enjoy during the holidays and beyond. This easy and delightful blend of whipped matcha and homemade almond milk is the perfect combo. Whether you’re a matcha beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, this creamy concoction, made with Morning Ritual Matcha, is sure to elevate your festive moments. Happy sipping!
INGREDIENTS
1 egg white or 2 tablespoons aquafaba (aka chickpea liquid if you’re vegan)
1 teaspoon of Morning Ritual Matcha
1 teaspoon of honey
1 ice cube
1 cup of homemade almond milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl, put in the egg white and the matcha, and whip until it is frothy and mostly stiff with a hand mixer.
- Add the honey and whip until stiff peaks form and it sticks to your whisk.
- Put the ice cube in a glass, pour in some homemade almond milk (or milk of your choice).
- Top the milk off with some matcha froth and enjoy!
