Matcha Bone Broth Latte

A ritual for energy, focus, and gut repair

This is my go-to when I want something grounding but energizing. It combines two of my daily rituals—my Mineral-Rich Bone Broth for Gut Repair and my Shayna’s Kitchen Organic Matcha—into one deeply nourishing, savory-sweet latte.

The healthy fats, collagen, and minerals from the broth support gut lining repair and stable energy, while the matcha brings calm focus without the crash. Together, they create a tonic that feels like a warm hug for your nervous system and your gut.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Mineral-Rich Bone Broth (beef, chicken, or blended — warmed)
  • 1/2–1 teaspoon Shayna’s Kitchen Organic Matcha
  • 1 teaspoon ghee or goat’s ghee (optional for richness)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of mineral salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Warm the bone broth gently on the stove—do not boil.
  2. In a small bowl or blender, whisk or blend the matcha powder with a splash of warm broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the matcha mixture into the rest of the broth. Add ghee and honey if using.
  4. Blend or froth until creamy and lightly foamy.
  5. Sip slowly, ideally in the morning or early afternoon when your body needs grounding energy.

CHEF’S NOTES

  • Add collagen peptides for extra protein and gut support.
  • For a vegan option, replace bone broth with a mineral-rich mushroom and seaweed broth.
  • I love drinking this before writing, meditating, or grounding outside—it helps me feel focused yet calm.
