2 Ingredient Dairy-Free Hemp Milk
Nut allergies are so common— for those who can’t consume almond or other nut milks, hemp milk is a great dairy free alternative! Hemp seeds are really one of the most nutritious foods available, as they contain a great balance of those great omega-3s, magnesium, iron, zinc and antioxidants like vitamin E. Around 25% of the calories in hemp seeds come from protein. Even more, they contain ALL the essential amino acids, making them a complete protein source (I know I’ve got MANY plant-based followers so here’s a new way to add more plant-based protein to your diet!)
** Note: if you would like to add alcohol-free vanilla extract or a dash of cinnamon for flavoring the milk, go ahead! I love the taste of hemp milk, but know it can be a little earthy for some people!
