Grapefruit Gelatin Gummies (Glow-Boosting + Gut-Loving)

Ingredients

Ingredients
- 1 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice (preferably pink or ruby red for a touch of natural sweetness)
- 2–3 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 3 tbsp grass-fed gelatin powder (I use perfect supplements)
- Optional: 1 tsp rose water or vanilla extract for an aromatic twist
- Optional: A pinch of mineral salt to enhance flavor and support electrolytes
Instructions
1. Prepare the Grapefruit Molds
1. Prepare the Grapefruit Molds
- Slice 2–3 large grapefruits in half crosswise.
- Juice the grapefruit and strain to remove pulp (save the juice for the recipe).
- Carefully scoop out the remaining pulp and membrane from the grapefruit halves using a spoon, creating clean grapefruit “cups.”
- Set the emptied halves upright in a muffin tray or bowl to keep them stable.
2. Bloom the Gelatin
- Pour the fresh grapefruit juice into a small saucepan.
- Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the juice and let it bloom (soak) for about 5 minutes. This ensures smooth dissolution.
3. Gently Heat
- Warm the mixture over low heat, stirring continuously until the gelatin fully dissolves (3–5 minutes). Do not boil.
4. Add Sweetness & Aroma
- Remove from heat. Stir in the honey or maple syrup, along with any optional rose water, vanilla, or mineral salt.
5. Pour into Grapefruit Molds
- Slowly pour the warm liquid mixture into the hollowed grapefruit halves.
- Let them cool slightly on the counter before transferring to the refrigerator.
6. Chill & Set
- Refrigerate the filled grapefruit cups for 1–2 hours or until fully set into a firm, sliceable jelly texture.
7. Slice & Serve
- Once set, slice each grapefruit half into wedges or cubes using a sharp knife.
- Enjoy straight from the peel, or peel away the rind and serve as beautiful, rustic grapefruit gelatin bites.
Holistic Tips
- These gummies support gut health, skin vitality, and joint support with the power of gelatin.
- Try adding a sprig of mint, thyme, or rosemary during the heating step for an herbal infusion.
- Post-workout? Pair with mineral-rich water for an electrolyte and collagen boost.
- Rose water adds a touch of calm and femininity—perfect for balancing energy.
