Berries, Tequila and Kombucha Cocktail

Merry Christmas to those celebrating! While I’m sure we’ve all out-cooked ourselves, I know what you need: a festive cocktail recipe! This one has some of my favorite things: tequila, berries and kombucha. I’ll be making a batch today, as well as one for New Years! If tequila isn’t your favorite, feel free to swap it out with what you DO love, or forgo it for a non-alcoholic version! Hope you have a great time celebrating at home! Xo

Berries, Tequila and Kombucha Cocktail

Merry Christmas to those celebrating! While I’m sure we’ve all out-cooked ourselves, I know what you need: a festive cocktail recipe! This one has some of my favorite things: tequila, berries and kombucha. I’ll be making a batch today, as well as one for New Years! Ingredients
  

  • 4 shots tequila
  • 3 blackberries
  • 8 blueberries
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • Dash of honey water
  • 1/2 lime juiced
  • 1 bottle of kombucha

Ingredients for honey water

  • 2 cups room temperature filtered water
  • 2 tbsp raw local honey

Instructions
 

  • To prepare the honey water, Add honey into the water and mix until dissolved. If you have trouble, heat the water slightly. Store the honey water in a container and keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the berries, a dash of honey water and the lime juice. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, muddle the berries in the bottom of the shaker. Add the alcohol and some ice and shake vigorously.
  • Pour the mixture between two glasses over ice. Finish with sparkling kombucha and a few berries. Enjoy!
