Preheat oven to broil and move rack to highest shelf. The trick is to make sure that the rack is the highest in the oven. Line a pan with foil in preparation.
Place your salmon piece skin side down and brush with a high-heat oil, like walnut oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and broil for 6-8 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the sauce.
After the 6-8 minutes, pull out the salmon, brush on the sauce and place back into the broiler for an additional 3-4 minutes, depending on how well done you like your fish.
I plated mine on a bed of fresh micro greens and sprinkled with salt when finished, adding lemon as a garnish. Enjoy!
