In a large pot, add about 3 cups of filtered water or enough to cover the pears. Grate the ginger into the pot, add the clove, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a low boil.
Add the honey and vanilla and the 2 peeled pears. Bring temperature to simmer and simmer the pears until cooked through, about 25-30 minutes. Remove from heat and allow pears to cool slightly.
To a plate, spread yogurt on the base. Top with granola. Add the poached pears, sitting upright. Finish with pomegranate seeds and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
