One Pan Pasta with Lemon, Spinach and Garlic (GF)


  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 lemon sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 12 oz gluten-free spaghetti I used Jovial Foods
  • 1.5 cups spinach chopped
  • 1 tsp celtic salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil chopped
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • 4.5 cups filtered water


  • Add olive oil, garlic, sliced lemon and red pepper flakes to a large pan on the stove over medium high heat. Sauté until the lemons begin to caramelize and the garlic is fragrant.
  • Add the additional ingredients. Once boiling, stir and move around the ingredients. Stirring consistently, cook according to package directions. For me, this was about 12 minutes.
  • The pasta will be finished when the water has nearly all evaporated and creates a starchy sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with red pepper flakes, basil and olive oil.
