You probably know by now that I’m all about making my own bone broth for its incredible benefits. But I’ve been in a recipe development mood for the holidays, so I’ve decided to give it a festive spin, and I can’t wait for you to try it! This recipe combines the gut-healing goodness of bone broth with the coziness of hot cacao – a delightful blend of wellness and sweetness. I’m confident you’ll love this one. Don’t be scared about the savory and sweet; give it a go. Cheers to gut health and sweet moments!
One cup beef bone broth (I use homemade) 1/3 to 1/2 cup full fat, coconut milk, or almond milk 2 tablespoons cacao powder 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup One scoop of collagen A dash of cinnamon powder A dash of nutmeg A pinch of salt
Heat and combine all ingredients. I like to add them to a blender to make it extra frothy and well-blended.
Pour into a cup, and optionally, but deliciously, top it with coconut whipped cream or enjoy it as is.
