Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving all the pasta here in Italy but can definitely tell when my body craves the usual fruits, veggies and nutrients. I was so excited to stock up my house with organic groceries last week and have been making this smoothie every single day. I haven’t found a good Italian or French protein powder so I’m thinking I’ll need to do some research or get my go-tos shipped from the States, but use what you’ve got in the kitchen. Go-To Berry and Spinach Smoothie

I haven’t found a good Italian or French protein powder so I’m thinking I’ll need to do some research or get my go-tos shipped from the States, but use what you’ve got in the kitchen. Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries
- 1 cup spinach
- 1-2 tsp spirulina
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1/2 tbsp maca powder
- 1-2 tbsp almond butter
- Almond milk or water to reach desired consistency
To garnish
- Bee pollen
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high powered blender. Blend until uniform, adding ice or additional liquid as necessary to reach desired consistency.
- Pour into a glass and top with bee pollen.
