For more than a decade now, matcha has been an integral part of my daily routine. My Morning Ritual, as I like to call it, holds a special place in my heart. It’s a cherished time at the start of my day when I can set intentions, prioritize self-care, and shower myself with love before diving into the demands of the day. And if you’re curious about how I prepare my matcha, l’ve got you covered! Take a look at the recipes l’ve included below for some inspiration.
For a hot matcha latte:
1/2-1 tsp Morning Ritual matcha, depending on how strong you’d like it
1 cup of your favorite non-dairy milk (I used almond)
In a small bowl, sift your matcha to avoid clumps through a small sifter. Add a small amount of filtered water (I use 1-2 tbsp of water). Using a whisk, whi the matcha and water together until it’s frothy and free of clumps.
In a milk frother, heat up your milk. You can also add collagen, cinnamon, honey, maple, or other ingredients. If you don’t have a frother, feel free to do this over the stove in a saucepan.
When the milk is heated and frothed, add to a mug of your choice and pour in the whisked matcha.
